Finally we made decision to enter premade skins market for various forum scripts vB, IPB, xenforo, etc.

We are in process of designing our new website and premade skins, initially we will be launching 10 premade vB skins and expected launch date is mid or third week of May12.

And we are quitting or custom design service to concentrate our full time with premade skins.

I just wanted to take a minute and give a big "THANK YOU" to Miner and his team. You did an excellent job, and I am 100% satisfied with my end result.

I must say being new to owning a forum, I was a little skeptical about paying a big invoice up front. Especially to someone I never talked to in person or via phone. He instilled confidence in me that the job would be done, and done right. It was, and for anyone researching for a forum skin designer, look no further.

I gave Miner a few ideas and a couple of BMW boards I am fluent on, and he began the creation. I am very picky and always want perfection. Miner and his team resemble perfection. After a couple of tweeks here and there, he had created, in my opinion, the perfect skin for my forum.

On another note, patience is a virtue. This team has that!!!!! I almost need to apologize to Miner for some of the dumb questions I had. However, he was always respectful and answered every question, noted every change, and responded in a timely manner.

My forum skin is loaded, and we still have a couple little tweeks to make, but he reassured me he would help me until everything was perfect.

In closing, Thank You Again. This has been a great experience and I will be back!!!!

Minerskinz does quality work for a reasonable price-range. Miner and his team is willing to work with you and are professional about it. No matter what, you're going to get a custom design that matches the content and theme of your site within the time-frame that he states and communication is relatively smooth, so I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger if that's what you're looking for.

With that said, I would advise all future clients to know exactly what you want out of a custom theme so that Miner and his team can better provide you with a satisfactory service if you decide to choose him as your designer. Be decisive during the mock-up phase and don't be afraid to express your dissatisfaction. With Minerskinz, there is somewhat of blind leap of faith in that you're agreeing to pay the full invoice in advance before being given a mock-up of the design. Much of the customized graphics are just stock/default vBulletin buttons, icons and layouts recolored. A lot of the elements will resemble the native vBulletin forum/CMS. They also won't provide you with the PSD files unless you specifically request them.

If I'm not mistaken, the team is composed of Miner as the artist and girendra as the coder. They take on multiple clients at a time so keep that in mind - be appreciative that they are able handle so many requests, even though it may take some time without any updates on the progress after the initial bulk of the work has been done. The big plus about the $1k package is that you get unlimited updates and support for all future vBulletin versions.

I personally wish I'd spent more time in the mock-up and coding phases before jumping the gun because I was being too impatient and unselfish, not fully understanding what my boundaries as a client were, as far as wanting something incredible, even if it was going to take more time or that I was going to be coming off as too stubborn/entitled/unappreciative. Be passionate about the process, is all I can say. A little while ago I was browsing the internet to find a service that could create a custom layout for my website. I stumbled upon minerskinz.com and started a conversation with Mr. Miner himself. At first I was a little sceptic, we are talking about a lot of money and although I find the portfolio amazing it's a big step to take. When I finally convinced myself that I should do it and Miner started working on a preview I was amazed! In a short time, the guy got something amazing to show me and besides a couple of adjustments to the design it was as I wanted in no-time! As you may expect from a service like this they are very flexible and fast. I'm not saying goodbye to Miner, because I will get back one day :-)

Since yesterday we are running on the new layout and the members love it!
